Mayibuye’s ‘Stand Centre Front: Young Performers Conference’ brings together young performers from across Victoria to learn, be inspired and share their passion and experiences. Participants meet high profile performers, network with community leaders and learn new skills from industry professionals.

All youth welcome! (Aged 12 -30 years of age)

Cost? FREE! Lunch and Snacks will also be provided

This years Conference will focused on diversity and acceptance. Participants will explore a range of different topics including disability, gender, multiculturalism, anti bullying, body awareness, poverty and many more. Interactive workshops will allow students to grow, discuss, learn about themselves and others.

Performance classes that will be offered this year are: African, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Drumming, Circus, Latin, Drama, Belly Dance, Bollywood, Indigenous Dance, Jazz, Zumba, Musical Theatre and Music. Upon registering for the conference, participants will be sent out a link to choose which classes you want to participate in. First in first served... so register today!

INTRODUCING NEW WORKSHOPS!

This year participants will also get the opportunity to explore and try a number self expression workshops. These include Rapping, Stencil Art, Song Writing, Indigenous Art, T-shirt Design. We will also be making a big Mural to be displayed at the showcase.

The conference will end with a big public showcase. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their passions and talents in front of friends and family.
